Apple Orchard Outreach Service
Living in such supervised and nurtured environments can make the transition into the community a difficult one. It is imperative that this is done in an agreed, timely and supported fashion.
Where feasible (and subject to funding) we offer ongoing therapy sessions for young people leaving the service to continue the support available to them, to help them to deal with anxieties they may face, to assist with reflecting on new experiences and new relationships and to help them to embed the tools and resources that they have learnt and developed in their time at Apple Orchard into their new environment. The timing and duration of this work is individualised to the needs of the young person.
Apple Orchard have provided a therapeutic environment for TC, and enabled him to make positive changes in his life. I am happy to see the huge changes he has made.
