Residential Support Worker

RESIDENTIAL SUPPORT WORKER

LOCATION: WEST SUSSEX / SURREY                    JOB TYPE: FULL TIME 40  hours/week

SALARY UP TO £24,600 INCLUDING SLEEP IN PAY, DEPENDENT ON QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPEREINCE.

Apple Orchard has four homes in Surrey and West Sussex. Each home is set in a rural location and offers a comfortable homely environment for young males aged 13-18 years. We are looking for experienced support workers to join our team.

The ideal candidate would have previous experience of working with teenage boys and have a willingness to further develop their skills. Level 3 diploma in Care/ Young People is desirable. You would need to be willing to engage the young people in a wide range of activities and support them through their time at Apple Orchard; guiding them towards Independence and Adulthood. You will need to be flexible with your working hours and be able to work a mixture of days, evenings and weekends.

Senior Residential Support Worker

SALARY UP TO £28,180 INCLUDING SLEEP IN PAY, DEPENDENT ON QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPEREINCE.

Full Time Teaching Assistant

Applications are sought for a full time position, term time only, to work with pupils who have special educational needs.   Salary i.r.o. £12- 13,000 depending on experience and qualifications.

The successful candidate will :

  • be enthusiastic, caring and well motivated,
  • demonstrate versatility, tact, commitment and the ability to use initiative,
  • be patient and able to stay calm
  • be suitably qualified for the post of teaching assistant i.e. be able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing in a variety of settings.
  • be able to work as part of a team, and
  • have the ability to maintain confidentiality.

Waking Night Support Worker – Residential Care

LOCATION: SURREY JOB TYPE: FULL TIME

Hours are 10pm – 9am working five days on and five off.   salary UP TO £12 PER HOUR DEPENDENT ON QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPEREINCE

Apple Orchard has four registered Children’s Homes within the Surrey and Sussex Borders. Each home is set in a rural location and offers a comfortable homely environment for young males aged 13-18 years.

We are looking for a friendly, outgoing and experienced Waking Night worker to join our friendly and professional staff team.   Experienced candidates must possess a minimum of 12 months relevant experience and ideally possess Level 3 Diploma in Caring for Young People and Children.
