Waking Night Staff

LOCATION: SURREY                JOB TYPE: FULL TIME

Hours are 10pm – 9am working five days on and five off.    salary UP TO £12 PER HOUR DEPENDENT ON QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPEREINCE

 

Apple Orchard has four registered Children’s Homes within the Surrey and Sussex Borders. Each home is set in a rural location and offers a comfortable homely environment for young males aged 13-18 years.

 

We are looking for a friendly, outgoing and experienced Waking Night worker to join our friendly and professional staff team.   Experienced candidates must possess a minimum of 12 months relevant experience and ideally possess Level 3 Diploma in Caring for Young People and Children.

Apple Orchard is committed to providing outstanding outcomes for the young people and encouraging them to achieve to their highest potential. We provide a safe environment for them to build positive relationships and empower them to face issues from their past and look towards the future.

Design Technology Teacher

Full-time

Number on roll: 23.

Starting: Easter 2020 (if possible or September 2020)

 

We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated and committed professional to join in the continued development and success of the school.  The successful candidate will have:

  • the ability to motivate and encourage young people
  • high expectations and a clear vision of educational excellence
  • outstanding classroom ability and behaviour management practice
  • the ability to create and deliver a stimulating programme of study across design technology and vocational skills
  • flexibility and willingness to work as part of our hardworking, supportive small team
  • ability to teach across other subjects with science and PE an advantage
  • QTS / QTLS

Apple Orchard is an expanding therapeutic community with a school attached. All young people in our care have significant SEMH concerns and as such we are looking for a teacher with a passion to work with those who are most vulnerable. 

 

Both NQTs and experienced teachers are welcome to apply.
